A lazy weekending kind of post - just a photo (or two) and a few links I've collected over the week to share with you.
That first photo? It's my foot, Emily's art, and Katie's henna - black tea steeped overnight with a bit of eucalyptus essential oil, henna powder, lemon juice, and cloves added the next day. The henna paste dried soon after that photo was taken. A few hours later it turned to powder, crumbled off, and left behind a beautiful muted reddish-brown design. And speaking of hand-dyeing - the second picture. I'll be spending some time over the weekend with this hand-dyed Malabrigo, knitting for the winner of our shower game. These colorways are Sunset and Roanoke. Perfect for autumn.
Here's to a quiet and restful weekend full of good things. Thanks for visiting this week. xoxo
